Frances Lydia Moheit, 89, of Sun City Arizona, passed away on April 3, 2011. The funeral service arrangements are being handled by Sunland Memorial Park.
Frances was born in Oconomowoc Wisconsin on August 10, 1921. She had fond childhood memories of her family’s house on the lake and the fun times they had playing in the snow. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School as the valedictorian. She started work in Chicago but found better opportunities out West. Frances was married to John “Jack” Moheit, in Covina California on September 9, 1962.
Frances worked as a cost analyst at Hughes Aircraft, in El Segundo CA, for more than 30 years. During her time at Hughes, she worked on some high tech projects like the tow missile system. She enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her friends and family. She was also actively involved in her church, Sun Church of the Palms, located in Sun City AZ.
Frances is survived by her son, Jay Moheit and his wife Mary Ewing, her Granddaughter Samantha Moheit, her nieces and nephews, and the rest of her family and friends.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Plautz and Rose Leonard; as well as her sister Florence Turner, and her brother Fred Plautz.
