Sue was not only a beautiful lady who had extraordinary style, class and grace; she also gave us amazing and wonderful years by raising her children, Cindy and John, and bringing kindness and love, interest and adventure, creativity and connectivity to our home and lives. She delighted in her grandchildren, cuddled, comforted, and led them into museums, music, craft and celebration with her ever energetic love of life. She loved her family, enjoyed wonderful heartfelt friendships between Washington, Virginia, and beyond, and benefitted from dear sweet kind caring acts during the 8 years since her stroke. In these simple and extraordinary acts of kindness, she found strength.
