Person Description:
Francesca Nicolette Luna, \"Nicole\", age 17, of Mesa went home to the Lord at 5:51 pm Tuesday, July 23, 2013 after a long battle with Leukemia.

Nicole was born October 12, 1995 in Phoenix, AZ to Gionetti & Kathy (Kress) Luna. She is survived by her parents, Gionetti & Kathy, and her two older brothers Giovanni of Breckenridge, Colorado & Adrian of Manhattan, New York. Additional survivors are her paternal grandparents Gioneti Sr. & Maria Luna of Florence, Italy; maternal grandparents; Michael & Pat Kress of Scottsdale, and great-grandmother Helen Kress of Carlsbad, California. She is also survived by a whole host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her niece Alexis Luna; nephew Jackson Luna; great-grandfather; Wilson Kress and great-great-grandmother, Mabel Battey.

She was an active member of Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Mesa..

Throughout her short life, Nicole touched everyone she came into contact with her warm and giving personality and beautiful smile that lit up a room.

Nicole is now at rest with her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and will be forever and deeply missed by his family & friends.
Service Information:
Funeral Services are under the direction of Bunker Family Funeral Home, Mesa and will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10:00 am at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, with Deacon Tom Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the church prior to funeral services. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Phoenix, AZ. with Scott Hullman, Caleb Dunlap, Kyle Ehrhart, Casey Scritt, Naveen Malnik, Josh Sparks, Michael Luna and Nico Luna serving as pallbearers.
